If you’re not in your room a lot, or during daylight hours, this may not be an issue for you. Rooms with two small portholes offer views of the water, however, the windows are definitely quite small. Rooms with one large porthole often have a window seat built-in and give you a great view of the scenery. For a special treat, you can choose to dine at one of the adult-only restaurants – Palo or Remy. Passengers on the Disney Fantasy, like the other ships, often like to decorate their doors with stateroom door magnets. I’d recommend doing this because you’ll easily be able to identify your room for all of the other ones.
Those aged 14 to 17 have a unique indoor/outdoor space made just for them, complete with a super secret entrance! Indoors, teens will find plenty of TVs, video games, and tablets, plus dance parties, karaoke sessions, and group activities. Outside, there’s a private sundeck at the bow of the ship that’s perfect for games, splashing in one of two small pools, and sunbathing. You don’t have to pay extra to ride the AquaDuck, but you will have to wait in line (sorry, no FastPass, Lightning Lane, or Genie+ here). Lines tend to be longest on Sea Days and shorter when the ship is in port. You might have the best luck if you’re willing to ride while everyone’s ashore at Castaway Cay.

Reservations for any of the specialty restaurants can be made through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app or online. To avoid a cancellation fee, it is important to know that guests need to cancel any reservation they do not plan on attending at least 24 hours. The more you sail with DCL, the further in advance you'll be able to make reservations. For example, guests who have sailed with Disney Cruise Line at least once are added to the Castaway Club and become Silver Castaway Club Members. Silver Castaway Club Members can pre-book specialty dining 90 days prior to the sail date.

The food quality is very good, the service staff is amicable and timely. It’s common knowledge that dining is an important part of the cruise experience, and the Disney Fantasy certainly lives up to those expectations.

Offering the most upscale and romantic dining experience available onboard, the restaurant serves the finest in French-inspired cuisine for dinner. Palo on the Disney Fantasy is an Adult Exclusive restaurant located on Deck 12, Aft that boasts Northern Italian cuisine for dinner. Reservations are required to dine at Palo and can be made online or upon boarding the ship. Animator's Palate is a Main Dining restaurant located on Deck 3, Aft aboard the Disney Fantasy that serves dinner. Paying homage to the magic of Disney animation, Animator's Palate includes a unique dinner show starring some of your favorite Disney characters.
This show features Mickey and Friends and Cruise Cast Members dancing and singing to help get you into the mood for your best Disney Cruise Ever. This is also a great time to grab the Drink of the Day, or your first ice cream cone from Eye Scream treats, also on Deck 11.
